Ummm, what do you mean? The few times I have skipped cut-scenes, I continued to watch it until everyone had skipped or until it was over. Can you be a little clearer about the problem?

I don't quite understand what you are saying. I know that when I skip the cinema, I may be forced to watch it against my will, but I am not left fighting all alone while the rest of the party watches it. I have, however, seen someone's minions die during a cut scene if it isn't skipped. And personally, if someone stands there screaming at me yelling SKIP SKIP SKIP, I'll more than likely watch it just to be annoying, because I don't really appreciate being yelled at in real life, much less in a game.

I agree with Harmony about the yelling part. I have purposely not skipped to annoy the yellers. After all, what can they do to you? Whine and quit?

If I understand you correctly, I think you've got the wrong idea. Notice during a cutscene that it will say something to the effect of "5 out of 8 in your party have chosen to skip this cinematic." No, those 5 do not continue through the mission while the remaining 3 watch the cinematic. You only continue when (1) All 8 members have chosen "Skip," or (2) The cutscene is over. It will never separate party members like that. Everyone stays together. Unless it was some sort of glitch/bug, I have no clue where you got this idea. Hope this helps to clarify things a bit.
Sometimes, in missions such as Ice Caves of Sorrow, it is sort of necessary for everyone to skip, because at times, while in the cutscene, the Mursaat may come up and attack, and by the time it is finished, Evennia will be dead, thus bring the mission to an abrupt halt. So sometimes that may be the reason people scream "Skip!!!! Skip!!!!" before reaching the cinematic. Any further questions, just ask.

You may be correct because this is the mission we were playing. I may not have understood correctly from my guild there reasoning to skip at the time. Are there many mission like this that are time crucial in enemy movement making in advantageous to skip cinematics. Anything that would make it desirable to skip the cinematic in order to succesfully complete the mission is probably not the right direction -in otherwords, the GW world really should be in a time stop while your viewing the cut scene, thus making this a moot point to want to skip this cinematic for this reason. This also removes the problem of you minions dying on you which I am sure is annoying to the necromancers as well. I am assuming enchantments maybe also effected if they cross scene changes (Cant remember though). Above all though, I really don't like the idea of enemy movement while your trying to simply watch a cut scene making your scenario disadvantageous by doing so.

The cinematics wouldn't look right if people just walked off.

Well the problem might be that the game goes on even during the cinematics. How many of you have died during a cinematic? How many necros have lost their pets during a cinematic?
Not a major problem, but I would see this as annoying for a player going 1st time through, and team pressuring everyone to skip the film... Tho people tend to say 'skip plz' even when there's no immediate danger during the cinematic

Agreed. I hope ArenaNet can somehow fix any reason to need to skip a cinematic. It's simply not fair.
